Here's what's happening. Everything is changing so quickly its not noticable. It's like being on a fast moving train that is slowly accelerating, but it's perfectly smooth, its dark outside, you only have lights on the inside where you're riding. Everything in your immediate experience continues to look and feel the same, but the bigger picture is rapidly evolving. Its evolving all around you. If your awareness in the train is you when you're awake, at work, running errands, shopping -- and that is your ONLY awareness, you notice nothing unusual. But there's so much more to connect with. You're missing out on amazing and wonderful transformations - transformations of everything; planets, stars, life forms ... everything.
How can one become aware? By creating destinction. Put your mind on the idea that who you are is not your experience inside the train. The world in the train, your waking life world, your day-to-day drama is only a perspective.
Imagine that you are not your body, not your ethnic heritage, not your religious beliefs, not your nationality, not your gender. Imagine you are much, much more. Imagine that everyone you know, ever have known, ever will know is the same. You're no better, no worse. Imagine that there is no lack, no worry and that the idea of those two things is just an idea - a thought up thing that can be pondered and released like dust being brushed from a coat sleave.
This is perfection, balance, capableness. This is balance, breathing room. This is peace.
From this place you can now approach and embrace gratitude - the highest expression of who you really are.
